Destruction of munitions
Recently, environmental and security sensitivity in the world to explosive remnants from war has been increasing. People are concerned about potential threats to environment and humans from such war remnants.
The international community largely agrees that the disposal of these remnants both reduces risks for the affected region’s inhabitants and the risk of remnants falling into the wrong hands. Environmental awareness has led to a situation where destruction or disposal of munitions by open air burning is not acceptable in several parts of the world. There is an increasing demand for sound destruction technologies to meet strict international safety and environmental standards.
For munitions destruction, DYNASAFE offers both Static (hot) Detonation Chambers (SDC) and Controlled (cold) Detonation Chambers (CDC). The static detonation technology is also available in a mobile version.
In most cases it is necessary to transport recovered munitions over public roads once the munitions have been recovered. For such activities DYNASAFE provides different models of transport chambers and similar solutions depending on the needs of the client.
